2024 Z5K Fun Run & Walk

The ZKF’s fourth annual fundraiser and 5K Fun Run & Walk will take place on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis, MN from 9:00am – 2:00pm.

Our FIRST Bollywood dance & stretch warm-up before the race

TWO Zahara-inspired food trucks at the Post-Race Celebration

THREE amazing musical performances at the Lake Harriet Bandsheet immediately after the race

2023 Z5K Fun Run & Walk

The ZKF’s third annual fundraiser and 5K Fun Run & Walk was held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Gold Medal Park in Minneapolis, MN.

We had over 360 participants! Our virtual runners represented ZKF in Boston, Milwaukee, Columbus, Greenville, Denver, New York- and the list goes on. Through the Z5K ticket sales and sign-up donations, we raised over $28,000!

2022 Z5K Fun Run & Walk

The Zahara Kathawalla Foundation’s second annual fundraiser and first 5K Fun Run & Walk at Gold Medal Park in Minneapolis, MN.

We had over 200 runners join us on July 30th at Gold Medal Park and over 70 virtual runners who ran their own 5K all over the world, including Chicago, Boston, Colorado, New York, and many more places. Z5K raised over $11,700 through ticket sales and over $9,000 in generous donations from the participants.

2021 ZaharaPalooza

The Zahara Kathawalla Foundation’s first annual fundraiser.

We wanted to share with you a few event highlights: 

  • 1 duck made it to the end of the river
  • 3 incredible performances from Ellie, Anju, and Stuart
  • 25 relaxed yogis
  • 30 new sushi-makers 
  • 45 emerging henna artists 
  • 56 adventurous kayak expeditions
  • 60 wine tasting experiences 
  • Over 200 attendees
  • Over $10,000 raised through the Silent Auction
